  1. I am a missionary in Ukraine. My family and I have lived in Ukraine for the past 11 years. During that time we have been planting churches and reaching out to orphans.  I'm a pastor at Christian Bible Church here in Chernigov. I grew up in Maine and my wife, Koren is from CA. We were both were working with orphan's in Ukraine the summer of 2000 and fell in love, got married and started a family on the mission field.

I was homeschooled all through school and now my wife and I are homeschool our three kids. Gavin 9, Emma 7 and Arden will be 2 soon.

Being a homeschooler and homeschooling my kids on the mission field... I have a heart for homeschooling and missions.  I went on a missions trip to visit a homeschooling missionary family in Korea when I was 16. After that trip God put a desire in me to return to the mission field.  It opened my eyes to the rest of the world and the need for people to hear the gospel.

We are a homeschooling family that would love to share our lives with other homeschooling families.

I was just thinking how families could do it as a homeschooling project. Partnering with other homeschooling missionary families to commit to praying daily, send an occasional letter and possibly support their ministry on a monthly basis. Maybe just committing for a semester or for the school year.  These days with email the world is getting smaller and it would be such a joy to meet other homeschooling families and encourage them toward missions.

Just wondering what you think? just want to help homeschooling families that would want to get their kids thinking about missions and actually start to get involved in all kinds of ways now.

Check out our blog and if you have time I would love to hear back from you!

    God bless,
    Conor

  2. Just a guess Conor, but I don't think you looked around my blog much. This is a secular homeschool blog. So NO, I am not really interested in your idea.
